Mary Higgins Clark. Born 12/24/1927. Died 1/31/2020. American author of Irish descent with 51 best sellers. Her contributions to literary arts included her participation in many organizations, including as President of the Mystery Writers of America. She also won many awards as a Catholic writer, including the Order of St. Gregory the Good, the Graymoor Award, and the Christopher Life Achievement award. Her books include WHERE ARE THE CHILDREN? (1974), THE CRADLE WILL FALL (1980). LOVES MUSIC, LOVES TO DANCE (1991). And PRETEND YOU DON’T SEE HER (1997).
