Jane Austen. Born 12/16/1775. Died 7/18/1817. English novelist. Famous for her contemporary life stories with a focus on love and relationships, including SENSE AND SENSIBILITY, PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, MANSFIELD PARK, EMMA, NORTHANGER ABBEY, and PERSUASION. (Her novels are personal favorites of mine!)
