Linda Sue Park was born on March 25, 1960. She is beloved for her children’s stories and won the 2002 Newberry Medal for A SINGLE SHARD. She also wrote PROJECT MULBERRY, A LONG WALK TO WATER, and PRAIRIE LOTUS, among other juvenile novels.
